The contrast between the moss-covered stone walls surrounding the main citadel and the cherry blossoms is beautiful, creating a tasteful Japanese spring scene. Within the garden, several types of cherry blossoms, including Somei-Yoshino, weeping cherry, and Higan cherry, bloom in succession.
