Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura with plenty of children's experiences

The well-known leisure spot, "Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura."
While there are no amusement park-style rides, there are plenty of spots to spend time actively. All the staff are dressed in kimonos and Edo-period attire, speaking in Edo-style dialect. It truly feels like you have traveled back in time to the Edo period.

At "Jiku," located right by the entrance, there are many "Edoite" costumes available, and you can choose the character outfit you want to wear. Both adults and children can transform into Edoites here.
There is a wide selection of costumes for children, and as soon as boys change into outfits like ninjas, samurai, lords, or Shinsengumi, their mood changes too. Girls can also enjoy experiences that everyone would want to try, such as dressing up as princesses, samurai daughters, or town girls, feeling as if they are in the world of a period drama.

Most of the paths within the facility are paved, making it easy for strollers. Even where there are bridges, detours are provided, so you can tour the entire facility with a stroller with peace of mind.

Daruma painting experience that even preschoolers can enjoy

There are several spots here where you can play with your children.
The "Shuriken Dojo," where you can feel like a ninja by throwing shuriken, and the "Yaba" (archery range), where you can become a master archer, are things that even adults will get absorbed in. "Daruma painting" is something even preschoolers can enjoy. You can work on it together as a parent and child while thinking about the colors and expressions.

The "Ninja Trick Maze," which has many gimmicks, is a good challenge for parents and children to take on together. On weekends and during summer vacation, we hold Edo occupation experiences (for ages 5 to 12). It is said that parents sometimes come to make reservations as soon as the park opens to secure popular occupations (ninja, okappiki, swordsmanship).

There is a pond in the center of the facility where many koi fish swim. Feeding them with food sold for 100 yen is very popular with children, as the fish gather all at once and eat with their big mouths wide open.
During summer vacation, there are irregular workshops such as indigo dyeing and tsumami zaiku (fabric flower making), so many people visit with their children for their summer independent research projects.

Nursing room also fully equipped

The facility is fully equipped with nursing rooms and diaper-changing beds, which is great for those with infants. There are also rest areas within the facility, so you can take a break whenever you like. Table guards are installed on the tables with children's safety in mind.
*Please be careful as the area in front of the nursing room is a gravel path.

A large parking lot is available, so traveling by car is recommended, as is taking the Tobu Bus from Kinugawa Onsen.

Tobu World Square, fully equipped with a kids' space

Tobu World Square is a theme park in Kinugawa Onsen where famous buildings and World Heritage sites from around the world are gathered in one place. You can take a trip around the world with your children. Furthermore, you can enjoy walking with your dog as long as it is on a leash.

The photo shows the Sphinx in the Egypt Zone. Since children can see it up close at their height, they might make discoveries that adults would miss.

The entire facility is barrier-free, so you can feel at ease with a stroller. Strollers can be rented via "Babycal." Please check the website for details.

Children get excited looking down at the trains below

This photo shows a Tobu train station in the Japan Zone. The trains you see in the background are moving. Children are glued to the sight of the realistically crafted diorama and the actual moving trains at the same time. The newly launched 1/25 scale "Spacia X" is also very popular.

Well-equipped kids' space

There is a building called "Kids House" within the facility. It is equipped with kids' restrooms and nursing rooms, so you can spend time there with peace of mind even if you have small children.

Kinugawa River Boat Ride, which children can also enjoy

The "Kinugawa River Boat Ride" is fun for everyone from small children to adults. The boarding area is located about a 5-minute walk from Kinugawa-Onsen Station. The boat ride is a popular spot where you can experience the power of the river up close while drifting down the Kinugawa River and viewing large rocks and rocks with interesting shapes.

You can feel the power of nature while pleasantly being splashed by the river water.
Vinyl sheets are provided on the boat to protect you from the water, and it is fun to have all the passengers cover themselves with the sheets in unison at the boatman's signal, creating a sense of unity.

Taking pictures of the scenery from the middle of the river

With the rocking of the boat, the splashes, and the changing scenery, the immersive boat ride is full of memorable photo opportunities. It is recommended to keep your smartphone or camera in a waterproof cover. The autumn leaves of Kinugawa are very famous, so the view from the river during this season is exceptional.
Please check in advance, as there may be times when you cannot board due to rising or falling water levels caused by weather or strong winds.

During the river boat ride, it is also recommended to interact with others, such as seeing people crossing the Kinu Tateiwa Otsuribashi Bridge, having them wave at you if they notice you, or seeing people rafting.
