The secret ingredient of this delicious burger is the brown sugar from Kohama Island.

This cafe is popular among both the islanders and tourists. The dynamic and filling "Obama Burger" is made with bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg, beef patty, and teriyaki sauce made with brown sugar.
When the restaurant first opened in 2009, the owner tried some brown sugar from Kohama Island and found it to be delicious, so he thought about incorporating it into the menu, and so this teriyaki sauce was born. The sweetness of the brown sugar creates a rich flavor that whets the appetite.

4coffee house palm tree
A cafe filled with delicious food that you'll want to stop by if you come to Kohama Island

A small coffee shop located at the entrance to the village, up the straight road that stretches from Obama Port. You can enjoy the master's special "black chicken curry" and "keema curry", as well as delicious sweets.
The popular "Brown Sugar Sundae" is made with syrup made from brown sugar from Kohama Island, and the rich, deep sweetness and cold vanilla ice cream create an exquisite harmony. Other recommended flavors include brown sugar milk and passion fruit shaved ice.
The owners are a married couple, an oil painter and a picture book writer.

The interior of the restaurant has a calming atmosphere, with the warmth of wood, allowing you to enjoy the relaxed island time that is unique to Kohama Island. The tables and chairs in the restaurant are made of island wood such as yarabu wood (Terihaboku) and Ryukyu pine.
The Yalabu tree was apparently in the garden of a large old house next door to the house the owners used to live in. As they saw the tree every day, they were attached to it, so they accepted it on the condition that they would cover the cost of cutting it down, and had it turned into tables and chairs for the restaurant, with the feeling that they were bringing the tree back to life.
