A shop filled with yachimun pottery selected by the owner's sensibility and intuition

This shop opened in February 2019 within Yachimun no Sato and currently carries yachimun pottery from around 30 artists. The owner places great importance on "intuition" when purchasing, and he believes in what he is drawn to instinctively, rather than popularity or titles.
The 100m2 shop is lined with unique tableware, mugs, cups, chopstick rests, etc. Works by Jinjinyo from Ogimi Village in northern Okinawa are only available here in Yachimun no Sato, and many customers visit just to see these items.
A wide range of items for yourself and as souvenirs

Other items on display include promising newcomer "SUI" and "Sueyoshi Pottery Studio" from Shuri. These are works by rare artists that are rarely seen in other stores. The owner opened the shop out of a love for Yachimun pottery, and he actually makes small items, mugs, chopstick rests, and more. These items are not on display in the shop yet, but he says, "I would like to sell them someday."
Many people buy the mugs and other tableware for themselves, and the chopstick rests, spoons, and other small items as souvenirs. If you're strolling around Yachimun no Sato, be sure to stop by.

A stylish shop where you can find the perfect gift

It's fun to spend time thinking about the person you're giving a gift to. Sorail, which sells Yachimun pottery and Okinawan goods, has a wide selection of items that you'll want to give as gifts, such as birthday presents, wedding gifts, and baby gifts.
The best recommendation is the "Yachimun Candle" made with Yachimun pottery by a local potter. This original product, invented and produced by the owner, is perfect as a gift or souvenir from Okinawa. As it is an aroma candle, it is not only cute but also has a soothing effect.
The store is filled with the owner's favorite items

The owner, who is from Yomitan Village, opened the shop in 2020 after retiring from an apparel company where he had worked for 12 years both in and outside the prefecture. Since he was in his 20s, he had a vague idea that he wanted to start something on his own in the future. He then opened a shop that sells Yachimun candles, which he started making as a hobby, as well as other items suitable for gifts.
She stocks items that she feels she likes intuitively, items that she has actually used and found to be good, and items that she personally loves. Why not send a Made in Okinawa item to someone who has helped you out while traveling, or to a friend whose birthday is coming up soon?

This general store is well-known among lovers of miscellaneous goods and tableware. As it is located on a hill in Ginowan City, you can see the ocean through the windows from inside the store. The store mainly sells items by artists active in Okinawa Prefecture, and there are always around 40 pieces of art on display in the store, including Yachimun pottery, glass, woodwork, brass, Bingata, fabrics, and food.
The dishes, vases, and sake cups from "Sora Potter's Work" have a Scandinavian feel to them, with a white base with sand-like dots and a soft overall color. These simple dishes have a warm feel to them and can be used to serve any food.
A wide selection of items perfect for finding Okinawa souvenirs and gifts

When purchasing items, the owner keeps in mind that they should be "full of the artist's individuality, yet not ostentatious and suitable for everyday use." A shop where you can purchase tableware you like at the cafe

This select shop is located on the third floor of the popular cafe "mofgmona" near Okinawa International University. It all started when the cafe first opened and the works of the artists who made the tableware used in the cafe were on display and for sale in the store, which became popular. By chance, the house two doors down was vacant, and the owner approached us, so we opened in 2005. We are currently operating in the same building as the cafe.
The "Human" series by the ceramic artist "jiccho" is eye-catching. The ceramic objects and mugs with faces are unique items that you will never forget once you see them.
A wide range of products from traditional Yachimun to modern tableware

The store handles about 50 different workshops. Traditional Yachimun pottery, modern tableware, glass, woodwork, and household goods are all tastefully displayed. The lineup changes depending on the timing of the kiln firing, but there are many items on display in the store, and customers are pleased to say that "there is a wide variety of products, so it's nice to be able to compare them."
The cozy interior makes it easy to stay for a while. Be sure to take some time to relax at the cafe before or after shopping.
