ASUKA, NARA – HOSHINOYA, which offers extraordinary experiences through the unique themes of each property, will open HOSHINOYA Asuka\u00a0 (Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture) on July 22, 2027. As the 10th HOSHINOYA property, HOSHINOYA Asuka embodies the concept “A Sanctuary of Stillness at Japan\u2019s Origin”. Asuka Village, where Japan’s first capital, “Asuka-kyo”, was located, is a place where history is registered as a World Cultural Heritage site and rich nature comes alive. It features sprawling stepped gardens that capture the beauty of Asuka Village’s terraced rice fields, along with single-story guest rooms that reflect scenes of tiles and stones. HOSHINOYA Asuka aims to provide a mindfulness experience that helps guests accept themselves as they are and create space in their minds. Based on a decade of collaboration between Hoshino Resorts and Asuka Village, guests are invited to a one-of-a-kind stay that harnesses the local landscape and charm. Available in four room types, the spacious rooms range from approximately 70 m\u00b2 to 260 m\u00b2 and feature impressive high ceilings up to roughly 4 meters. The design blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape of Asuka Village by incorporating interiors inspired by local stone monuments as well as tiled roofs reflecting the residential areas and temples protected under the<\/span> “Asuka Act.<\/span><\/i>” Additionally, the <\/span>Akane <\/span><\/i>rooms (approx. 105 m\u00b2 to 107 m\u00b2) feature a “stone-chamber bath”\u2014a space imbued with a sense of refined weight and presence, with stone lining an entire wall.\"\"<\/span>High ceilings up to roughly 4 meters <\/span><\/i>
