This hotel is the first facility in Kumamoto Prefecture to be operated by Hoshino Resorts. It will be the sixth in Kyushu following KAI Aso, KAI Kirishima, KAI Beppu (grand opening on July 8, 2021), KAI Yufuin (opening summer of 2022), and the Unzen Project (brand undecided).
