ビュッフェダイニング「hal-ハル」での最初の夕飯の後、レストランを出ようとしているときでした。少し待つように言われしばらくすると、スタッフとシェフが歓迎デザートセットをプレゼントしてくれたのです!! なんて思いやりがあるんだと思いませんか? 特に、一人旅だったので (初めてではありませんでしたが)、時々寂しくなることがありますが、リゾートでのフレンドリーで思いやりのあるスタッフのお陰で心が休まりました。

When I was going to leave the restaurant after the first dinner in Buffet Dining hal, I was asked to stay for a little bit longer, the staff and chef sent me welcoming dessert sets!! They were so sweet, weren’t they? Especially this was a solo travel(which is not my first time though), sometimes loneliness attacks, but the friendly and caring staffs in resort make me feel like being home.

北海道での最初の経験は感動的なものでした。日本の人たちが自然を愛する方法の考え方が大好きです。木々、川や綺麗な空を見ることが出来ます。森の中に家が隠れています! 人と自然の調和です。私が見たことのある中で、一番夢のような場所でした。クリスタルのように透明な水とカラフルな春の花畑の開放的な景色を永遠に覚えていると思います。

My first experience in Hokkaido was an inspiring one. I love the idea of how the Japanese people cherish the nature. You are able to see the trees, river and the clear sky. Houses are hidden in jungle! Harmony between human and nature. By far the most surreal place on earth I have seen yet. Open air scenery with crystal clear waters and colourful spring flower fields will be forever remembered.

最初、北海道でハンドメイド教室に参加したいと思っていました。悲しいことに、コースや地元の教室を探したところ、日本語を読んだり話したりする必要があることがわかりました。ほとんど諦めそうになりました! 到着した後、とてもフレンドリーな、あかね、という女の子に出会い、チーズを作る教室に参加することを助けてくれました!!! 私はとても感謝しました。地元で採れた材料を使ってチーズを作るという貴重な経験をしました! 彼女は、(電車では) 簡単に行けない、ニングルテラスと青い湖へも、車で連れて行ってくれました。その為、本当の北海道を体験する事ができたのです! ありがとう!!!

At first, I wished to take a hand-made class in Hokkaido. Sadly, when I searched for some courses or local workshops, I found it is compulsive to know how to read and speak Japanese. I almost give up! After arrived, I met a super friendly girl, Akane, who helped me to arrange a cheese making class!!! I was very thankful. This was a valuable time that I could use the local material to make cheese! She also took me to the blue lake as well as Ningle Terrace by car where were not highly accessible(if by rail). I could therefore feel the real Hokkaido! Arigatou!!!
