ここに来てから、私の日本に対するいくつかのイメージは変わりました。まず、日本人の「英語アレルギー」についてイメージが変わりました。思いのほか、初日を英語だけで過ごせ、かなり驚きました。その他には、日本人が時間を非常によく守ることを知ってはいましたが、思った以上だったことをこの目で確認しました。エスカレーターを走っている人もいて、衝撃を受けました。今では、彼らが電車を捕まえるために走っていることは知っていますし、それがここの人にとっては、とても普通の事のように思えます。その他のことは、ここに来る前に思っていたことと同じです。日本人が本当に自然や清潔さを大切にする様子を、目にしました。景色をより楽しめるように、日本人は多くの展望台を建てています。私が訪ねた場所は、どこも清潔でした。私がJR日光駅の前で撮影した写真でも、その様子を見ることができます。このようにきれいな場所を見れるのは、本当にいいことです。

Some of my image about Japan changed since I came here. Specially about Japanese’s “allergy” towards English. I quite surprised that I can spent my first day by speaking English only. Another things, I knew that Japan is very punctual regarding time and I saw it by my self. Even some of them running in escalator and it made me shock. Now I know that their run to catch the train and it seems very usual thing for the people here. Other things is same like I thought before came here. I saw that Japanese really appreciate nature and cleanliness. They built a lot of observation deck so people can enjoy more of the scenery. All the place I visited also very clean. You can see it in the photo I took from in front of JR NIKKO Station. It’s very nice to see it.

新宿駅を午前7時30分に出発し、特急日光1号で日光まで行きました。私にとってはかなり早い時間でした。というのも、前夜は友人とブラブラと過ごし、荷物を詰め終えたのは、午前0時だったからです。遅刻するのではと、とても心配しました。また、この方法以外で日光に行く方法も把握していませんでした。電車アプリのおかげで、新宿に最も速く行ける電車を見つけることができ、出発3分前に到着しました。電車を捕まえるために、エスカレーターを走り、満員電車に飛び乗ったのは、なかなか貴重な経験でした。

I travelled to Nikko by Limited Express Nikko 1 from Shinjuku station at 07:30 AM. It was quite early for me because the night before I hang out with my friends and finish package my luggage at 12 AM. I was very afraid that I would be late and I had no idea how to go to Nikko except this way. Thanks to train application, I could find the fastest train to Shinjuku and arrived 3 MINUTES before departure time. It was a quite experience running at the elevator and riding full train to catch the train.

荷物の心配をせずに、日光を回れるように、駅のコインロッカーを使いたくなりました。ロッカーは、日光駅の観光センターの前にあり、簡単に見つかりました。しかし、ロッカーは100円で使う機械で、私は必要な100円を持っていませんでした。すると突然、女性が私のところへ来て、助けてくれました。彼女は財布を確認して、コインを見つけて、私のお金と両替してくれました。彼女は、友人を待たせているにも関わらず、15分もかけて、私を助けてくれました。名前を尋ねる機会はありませんでしたが、彼女には本当に感謝しています。

I wanted to use Coin Locker at the station so I could look around Nikko without worried about my luggage. It located in front of JR Nikko Station Tourism Center so very easy to find. However, it’s 100 yen machine and I didn’t have enough 100 yen. Suddenly a woman came to me and helped me. She checked her wallet and found coins to exchange with my money. She spend almost 15 minutes to help me even tough she had friends waiting her. I didn’t have a chance to ask her name but I’m really thankful to her.

日本で旅行中に、たくさんの素晴らしい人に会いましたが、そのうちの1人は、栃木から来たカップルで、明智平ロープウェイで出会いました。一人旅ということは、写真を撮ってもらうには、他の人に撮影をお願いしなければなりません。私は旦那さんに撮影をお願いし、会話を始めました。奥さんは、私がインドネシアから来たことを推測で当てました。彼女は出身地を初めて正確に当てた人だったので、とても嬉しく思いました。その後、私はホテルまでバスに乗る予定だったので、別れました。ホテルへと歩いていると、私たちは再会しました。2人はまず私に挨拶し、私が界 日光に宿泊していると知って、驚いていました。本当にラッキーですねと言ってくれました。一緒に写真を撮影する機会はありませんでしたが、これが明智平で旦那さんに撮ってもらった私の写真です。

I met a lot of wonderful person during my trip in Japan one of them is a couple from Tochigi who I met at Akechidaihara rope way. Being a solo travel means I have to ask other people help to take your photo． I asked the husband to take picture of me and we started conversation. The wife guessed that I came from Indonesia and she is the first person who can guessed correctly so I’m very happy. Then we separated because I would take bus to hotel. When I walked to the hotel, We met once again. They greeted me first and surprised when know I stayed in KAI NIKKO. You are so lucky they said. We didn’t have a chance to take picture together but this is my picture which took by the husband at Akechidaira
