繊細で美しい日本の発見 Discover the delicate and sophistication of Japan
日本には何回も行ったことがありましたが、いつもホステルや安いホテルによく泊まっていました。または、カウチサーフィンで宿泊先を探して、日本人の家に泊めてもらうこともありました。こんなに食事のおいしい立派な旅館に泊まるのは初めてでした。スタッフの皆さんがあらゆることに気を遣っていることに気が付きました。例えば、紹介するときは皆さん必ず座ります。また着物を宿泊客が着やすいように、裏がえして置いてくれます。
Though being in Japan for many times. I used to stay in a hostel or cheap hotel, or sometimes I tried couchsurfing and stayed in Japanese’s home. It’s my first time to stay in such nice ryokan with delicious meals. I’ve noticed that every staffs pay attention to every detail. For example they squat down when they’re making the introduction. They put the show inside out so that it would be easy for customer to wear.

私の印象では日本は秩序の国で、日本人は誰もがそれを遵守しているようでした。それで日本は清潔できちんとした、組織がしっかりした国なのだと思います。日本人は他人を敬い、場をかき乱すようなことはしません。また、日本人は思いやりがありやさしいです。そのため、日本に来るといつも実家のような安心感があります。日本では、昔から大事にされてきた伝統と最先端の近代の文化を同時に体験できます。何百年の歴史のある寺院と近代美術館のどちらもあります。日本では伝統と近代の絶妙なコンビネーションを楽しめます。
In my impression, Japan is a country of rules, and Japanese strictly follow them. It makes Japan a clean, neat and organized country. Japanese people respect others and try not to disturb others. In the same time, Japanese is considerate and gentle. That’s why being in Japan always makes me feel at home. In Japan, I can experience both well-preserved tradition and the most fancy modern things. There are both temples of hundreds of years history and modern art museum. I enjoy the conflict and combination in Japan.
記憶に残った体験を教えてください。
お寺や神社で「御朱印」を集めることです Collecting ”gosyuin” in temple and shrine
「御朱印」は初めて日本に来た時から集めはじめました。驚いたのはどの寺社の僧侶や神主も、すばらしい能筆を書けることです。文化を保護する素晴らしい方法だと思います。全ての「御朱印」は違います。書いた人や寺社によって変わってきます。日付を書いてもらうと、自分がどこに行ったか思い出しやすく、良い旅の思い出がよみがえってきます。
I started to collect “gosyuin” since my first trip to Japan. To my surprise, every clergy in temples or shrine can write amazing calligraphy. I Think it’a great preservation of culture. Every “gosyuin” is different, it represent the person who write it and the temple or shrine. With date written, it becomes a good way to remember where I’ve been, and call back my good experience of traveling.
最も日本を感じた物事や体験を教えてください。
すばらしい奥入瀬渓流 Amazing Oirase Keiryu
自然の風景にはいつも心を奪われます。今まで行った中で、奥入瀬渓は一番素晴らしかった場所のひとつです。私の大好きな上高地を思い出させます。上高地はカナダやニュージーランドにあるような壮観な風景です。それと比較すると、奥入瀬渓流はもっと可愛らしく、繊細な感じです。川沿いを歩いていて、どの風景も絵画のように美しいのです。このように自然と間近で触れ合うことは大好きです。さらに、9キロ歩いた後でホテルに戻り、温泉を楽しんだら疲れも吹き飛びました。
Natural landscape always attracts me. Among the places I’ve been, I think Oirase Keiryu is one of the best, which make me think of another place I love- Kamikochi. The latter has spectacular landscape as you would see in Canada or New Zealand. In comparison, Oirase Keiryu seems more cute and delicate. Walking along the river, every view seems like a beautiful painting. I like the sense of being so intimate with nature. What’s more, after 9 km walking, going back to hotel and enjoying the hot spring totally eliminate my exhaustion.
日本の好きなこと／嫌いなことを教えてください。
好きなこと
カーサ・ブルータスというデザイン雑誌で見た、十和田市現代美術館を見たくて十和田市に行きました。屋外にインスタレーションアートが多く展示され、そのうち一つは日本の著名なアーティスト、草間彌生の作品でした。インスタレーションアートは異質な雰囲気で、その周りの空間が非現実的にすら思えました。美術館そのものがホワイトボックスを組み合わせて作ったように見えます。屋内のコレクションも興味深く、私は現代アートというものはもっと漠然としたものを考えていたのですが違いました。十和田市をぶらぶらするのも楽しく、道が広くてまっすぐでした。全てが新しく、整理されていました。十和田市現代美術館を訪れた後は十和田市のB級グルメ、バラ焼きを食べました。バラ焼きは玉ねぎと牛肉を鉄板にのせて、自分で作ることができます。シンプルな料理ですが、とてもおいしいです！
I went to Towada City because of Towada Art Center, which I saw on a design magazine called Casa Brutus. There are many installation art outside of museum, one of them are from the famous Japanese artist Kusama Yayoi. Those installations look so different that makes the area feels unreal. Museum itself looks like a combination of white boxes. Collections inside are interesting, not as obscure as I thought about modern art.Wandering around Towada city is nice, the roads are straight and wide. Everything seems so new and organized. After visit Towada Art Center, try some B Gurume of Towada City, Bara Yaki. You can cook onion and beef on an iron plate by yourself. Though it’s a simple dishes, it is very tasty!
嫌いなこと
これまでに日本で運転したことはありません。日本で運転するため、日本の運転免許を申請しました。しかし、レンタカーの会社に着いた時、日本の免許だけでなく、自分の台湾の運転免許を持ってきていないことに気が付きました。スタッフに日本で運転するためには日本と台湾の両方の免許が必要だと言われました。公共の交通機関が便利なおかげで、青森でもバスがたくさん走っていたので、車が無くても好きなところに行くことができました。残念なのは、バスは時刻表通りにしか走らないということです。もし自分で車を運転できたら、もっと気軽にあちこちへ行けたのでしょうね。
I’ve never driven in Japan before. In order to drive in Japan, I applied for the Japanese version of driver license. However, when I got to the car rental company, I found that I didn’t bring my Taiwanese driver license but only Japanese version. The staff said I need both for driving in Japan. Thanks to convenient transportation, even in Aomori there are many buses to take. I still managed to go to the place I wanted to go. The bad thing is that I have to follow the schedule of bus. I think it would be more free and casual if I can drive!

何回も日本に旅行に来たことはありますが、新幹線に乗るのは今回が初めてでした。非常にスムースで快適な列車です。JR EAST PASSがあれば、どこにでも行けますよ。
Traveling in Japan for many times, it’s my first time taking shinkansan. The train is smooth and comfortable. With JR EAST PASS, I can go anywhere.
