日本の映画やテレビドラマを見て、日本の都市のイメージは、心の中では自分の国と同じような感じでした。つまり、現代的な摩天楼の周りに、多くの古い平屋やアパートがあるということです。なので、日本に到着しても視覚的にはそれほどインパクトはないだろうと思っていました。しかしながら、私の考えは間違っていました。ここを訪れてから、日本には本当に多くの家があるものの、それぞれの家が、静寂と明るさと秩序にあふれる雰囲気を醸し出していることに気付きました。特に、あらゆる建物に、日本風の特徴があり、独自の特徴を持っていました。そのため、日本人がそのコミュニティーの改善に大いに努力していたことに、私は本当に感銘を受け、日本のあらゆる場所を楽しむことができました。

By watching Japanese movies and TV dramas , the image of Japanese cities is the same as my own country in my mind; besides modern skyscrapers, there are lots of old bungalows and apartments. Thus, I thought that it won’t show me so much visual impact if I arrive in Japan. However, I was wrong. After I came here, I discovered that Japan really has lots of old houses, but each house projects an atmosphere of calm, brightness, and order. Especially, All of the buildings are distinctive as Japanese style and have their own features. So, Japanese really touch me by putting seas of effort to improve their communities and make me love to enjoy everywhere in Japan.

1度東京の浅草で、日本食レストランに入り、鯖魚定食を注文したことがありました。しかし、私が今までに1度も食べたことのない食材があったので、日本人のように食べる方法がわかりませんでした。その時、私の隣に座っていた女性が、ボディーランゲージを使い始め、定食の食べ方を示してくれました。さらに彼女は、お茶を注ぐのを手伝ってくれ、茶碗に薬味を加えて、お茶漬けが出来上がりました。もう、本当に日本人は親切で、食べ物は最高でした!

One time in Asakusa, Tokyo, I came into a Japanese restaurant and ordered a “Grilled Mackerel with Salt Set”（鯖魚定食）. However, there were some ingredients that I never try before so I didn’t know how to eat it like a Japanese. At the moment, a madam sitting next to me started to use body language showing me how to eat the set. Furthermore, she helped me to pour tea and added some condiments into the rice bowl, then the Chazuke(茶漬け) was finished. OHHH, Japanese is so kind and the food is really nice!

日本に到着して、昼食を済ますために、適当にラーメン屋を選びました。ドアを開けると、そこには驚いたことが2つありました。1つは、お客さんが料理を注文するのに食券販売機を使っていたことです。こうすると、人々は簡単に料理を自分で選択することができる他、ウェイターも仕事量を減らすことができるのです!2つ目は、お一人席です。ほとんどのお客さんは、一人で壁に顔を向けて座っていました。台湾では、一人でレストランで食事をすると落ち着かないのですが、日本では違うようです。(一人で食べ終わった後も、奇異な目で見られることなく、居心地は良かったです!)

When I arrived in Japan, I randomly chosen a ramen restaurant to finish my lunch. After opened the door, there are two things amazing to me. First,customers used vending machine to order their meal. Therefore, people can choose dishes by themselves without bothering; the waiters also can reduce the amount of work! The second was the single seat. Most of customers sat individually and face to the wall. In Taiwan, eating in the restaurant alone is embarrassed, but it seems different from Japan. ( And after that I’m enjoying eating alone, it is comfortable without any peculiar look!)

是非ここで共有したい人は、界 松本で出会った人です。彼の名前は秋元健さんで、彼はレストラン四季で、夕食の間ずっと私に料理を提供してくれたウェイターさんです。秋元健さんは、非常にユーモア溢れる人で、私と同じくらい若い人 (冗談ですが) だったので、夕食の時には話に花が咲きました。例えば、私たちの生い立ちや学校での生活を共有したり、私は彼の故郷の神奈川県を訪れたことがあることなどを話したりしました。旅の間、私には誰もついてきていなかったので、秋元健さんが快く私と話し、一緒に語り合ってくれたので、本当に嬉しかったです。手短に言うと、私は美味しい料理と素晴らしい友人と共に、素晴らしい夕食を取ることができました！星野で出会ったスタッフの方は全員、非常に礼儀正しく、素晴らしいおもてなしをしてくれました。親切にしていただいて、本当に感謝しています。

I really want to share the guy which I met in Kai Matsumoto. He’s name is 秋元 建 and he is the waiter serving me during the whole dinner time in restaurant Shiki. 秋元 健 is very humor and young like myself(just kidding) so we have a good talk during the dinner time. For example, we shared about our background and school life, and I told him I have been to his hometown 神奈川. Since there is no anyone to accompany with me during the trip, it is very glad that 秋元 健 was willing to chat with me and share our stories together. In summary, I have a great dinner with the delicious food and good friend! (By the way, all of the staff which I met in Hoshino are very decent and hospitable. I deeply appreciated their kindness.)
