Visitor Guidelines
No outside food is allowed. Beverages are permitted only in spill-proof containers with lids, and we kindly ask that you drink only in outdoor areas.
Commercial photography, flash, and the use of tripods or drones are prohibited. We also do not allow photography involving cosplay.
Pets are not permitted inside the museum, with the exception of service animals (guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs).
Due to limited space, please refrain from bringing large items such as suitcases or strollers into the museum.
Accessibility
Accessible Admission will be offered for persons with a disability certificate and one accompanying caregiver, ¥700 each.
Requirement: Please present your disability certificate (physical, rehabilitation, mental health, or atomic bomb survivor’s handbook) or the Mirairo ID app at the ticket counter upon entry.
Please use nearby parking lots. There is a municipal parking lot in front of the museum with 3 accessible parking spaces, but availability is limited.
This museum is housed in a historic building from the late 1800s. While we strive to provide step-free access, some areas remain inaccessible. Please ask our staff at the counter for guidance on alternative barrier-free routes.
There are two multipurpose restrooms located within the museum. Both are equipped with ostomate-friendly facilities.
Wheelchairs are available at the entrance or information desk (2 units available, no reservations).
Guidedog, hearing dogs, and service dogs are welcome inside the museum.

Available in Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Korean, and French.
Please bring your own smartphone and earphones.
No rental devices are available.
All exhibition panels are in both Japanese and English.
Group Visits
Reservations are required for groups of 20 or more paying visitors. Priority is given to reservations; same-day entry for groups may not be available if fully booked.

Payment, Changes & Cancellations
Advanced credit card payment or on-site payment (Cash/various Cashless options).
You may adjust your reservation online until 9:00 am, three days prior.
To increase numbers: Please cancel and re-book your entire slot.
To decrease numbers: You may adjust the quantity within your existing booking.
Note: If the paying total falls below 20, group rates will no longer apply and the reservation (including bus parking) will be void. Please purchase general admission tickets instead.

Important Notes
For bookings without parking, the parking space is unavailable. While drop-offs and pick-ups are permitted, please note that there may be a wait depending on traffic conditions.
Please contact us if your arrival time changes by more than 15 minutes. Depending on the situation, we may not be able to accommodate bus parking or immediate entry.
