From the Seventeen-Article Constitution, where Prince Shotoku laid out his ideals, to the Taika Reform led by Prince Naka no Oe and Nakatomi no Kamatari, the turning points of history found in textbooks are etched into this very landscape.
With over 300 ancient tumuli and mysterious stone structures scattered throughout the village, a journey through these ruins offers an encounter with ancient romance that transcends time.
