Art Hotel Ishigakijima is a 13-story building located in the city center within walking distance of the remote island terminal. Sky Bar Capricorn, which occupies the top floor, is a hidden cafe with a spectacular view that only a few people know about. Through the large screen-like windows, you can see Ishigaki city, the sky, and the sea, and if the weather is good, you can even see the remote islands.
Of course, even if you are not a guest, you can use the cafe, and Wi-Fi is also available, so it is recommended for workation while enjoying delicious sweets and lunch. The view of the island in a calm atmosphere creates an elegant atmosphere.

Along with the view, you'll want to enjoy the lunch menu created by the hotel chef and the sweets specially made by the pastry chef. There are usually about 10 types of cakes, 7 types of baked goods, and 4 types of lunch including the very popular "Ishigaki Beef Burger". The most popular dessert is the Mont Blanc, made with purple sweet potato, a local specialty of the island. It is relatively lightly sweet, and the flavor of the purple sweet potato that fills your mouth goes well with coffee or tea. 2Natural Garden Cafe PUFFPUFF

Feel the breeze with this open ocean view

Located on the coast about a five-minute drive from the remote island terminal, this luxurious cafe has an ocean view from every seat. The counter seats on the balcony are popular and are ideal for taking photogenic photos. In front of the terrace is a spacious lawn garden, and beyond that is the emerald green ocean, where you can enjoy your meal while feeling the pleasant sea breeze and sunlight.
As the name "PUFFPUFF" suggests, which means "to relax and space out," this cafe has a wonderful atmosphere that makes you want to stay for a long time. Enjoy the view that changes with the time to your heart's content.

A wide variety of stylish and delicious menu items

If you visit at lunchtime, try the great value set menu that includes a choice of main dish, a half buffet and a drink bar. The main dish is Misaki Beef Roast Beef, of which only 10 are served per day. Enjoy the luxurious taste of the meat with the chef's special onion sauce. Other popular photogenic desserts include the Tropical Parfait, inspired by the sun and sea of Ishigaki, and Honey Toast Rich, a hot Danish topped with cold vanilla ice cream.
In addition to the cafe, there are also plans such as a private rooftop "sunset BBQ," which will expand the ways you can enjoy your trip.

3Seven Colors Ishigaki Island

A chalk auberge cafe at the northernmost tip of Ishigaki Island

The luxury resort hotel "Seven Colors Ishigakijima" is located in Hirakubo area, the northernmost part of Ishigaki Island. The chalk-white building is located right in front of the beach, and Restaurant is open to the public only at lunchtime as "Sea Cafe". There are few restaurants in the area, and the cafe overlooks the clearer waters than in the southern area, so it is often full. If you find yourself waiting, be sure to go up to the rooftop observation deck. There you will be greeted by a spectacular panoramic view that will envelop you in the mountains, sky, and sea.

The cafe's food is prepared by a former sous chef from a famous hotel. Ishigaki Island has a strong impression of the sea. However, it is actually a mountain island with Mt. Omotodake, the highest peak in Okinawa Prefecture. From the city, head north on Prefectural Route 87 for about 15 minutes by car. The road, which is remote and devoid of any houses, suddenly opens up, and you will find "Hikari-Rakuen" in the bosom of the mountains. Behind the store is a magnificent garden where you can eat your purchases at a table. Immerse yourself in island time in a townscape that retains the original Okinawan scenery

Taketomi Island is a small island with a circumference of 9.2km, formed by the uplift of a coral reef, about 10 minutes by high-speed ferry from Ishigaki Island. The streets are lined with Ryukyu red roofing tiles, hand-built stone walls and paths paved with pure white coral sand, and the clear blue sea and sky. Island time flows slowly with the sound of someone plucking a sanshin.
