14:00 Shuri Castle
Experience the glory of the Ryukyu Kingdom

Located on a hill overlooking Naha city, Shuri Castle is a must-see spot for tourists in Naha. Shuri Castle was built around the 14th century and was a castle that symbolized the Ryukyu Kingdom era. It was burned down during the Battle of Okinawa, and Shureimon Gate was restored in 1958. In 1992, it was opened as Shuri Castle Park, including the main hall. Currently, you can see the restoration work that was done after the fire that occurred in 2019. Shureimon means "Ryukyu is a country that values courtesy."

Kokusai Street
Naha's main street stretches for about 1.6km
