This product is a freshly made treat that pursues the original taste of Shingen Mochi. It is made using 100% pear rice grown in Yamanashi Prefecture, and in order to bring out the flavor of the rice, the amount of sugar used is half that of conventional products, so it only lasts for three days. As the product name suggests, this is a treat that you should eat on the day you buy it, if possible. The moderately sized mochi is generously dusted with kinako (roasted soybean flour) made from domestically grown soybeans, and melts softly and smoothly in your mouth.
