These programs offer authentic learning experiences not typically found in daily life, such as dairy farming, agricultural work, and the lives of Guam's indigenous people. Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Guam, a beach resort inviting connection with Guam's roots, will host "Chamorro's Academy ~Summer Research~," a summer program designed to experience Guamanian life. This year's theme is immersing participants in the daily life of the Chamorro people, Guam's indigenous inhabitants. Participants will learn the "three secrets" of coconuts—how to choose, husk, and prepare them—which are essential for making Manha titiyas (coconut crepes). This program allows participants to complete their summer research project through fun, hands-on activities documented in a worksheet.

Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Tomamu, conceptualized as a "graceful stay that embraces Hokkaido's vast land," offers enriching learning experiences through circular agriculture. The "Dairy Farming Academy ~Summer Research~" program takes place on a vast 100-hectare farm where cattle graze. Participants engage in outdoor learning about dairy farming and the characteristics of cows using a "Moo Moo Worksheet." Following this, they experience milking and feeding. The program concludes with an ice cream making session using Tomamu milk (1). This is a 2-night, 3-day summer research project where acquired knowledge and insights are compiled in the worksheet.

This program offers a hands-on experience from soil preparation to harvesting and eating vegetables. They then sow fertilizer and cultivate the soil using a tiller, and harvest vegetables at "Agri Garden," a farm that grows approximately 90 types of vegetables annually. This year also includes making original pizza using the harvested vegetables. After the experience, participants summarize their learnings in a worksheet to complete their "summer research" project.

This program offers learning about grapes through outdoor lessons by producers and culinary experiences in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan's top grape producer. On day one, participants prepare with hotel staff, learning about grape varieties and the work of farmers. Then, they visit a vineyard for practical learning, hearing from producers and observing grapes firsthand. On day two, at the RISONARE Kids Studio, they learn about irregular-sized grapes and make cream puffs using them. Finally, participants compile their learnings and discoveries into a worksheet to complete their summer research project.

Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Kohamajima, a private island resort offering relaxation amidst azure waters, will host "Coral Academy ~Summer Research~." This program, set in a sea home to over 360 types of coral, explores their unique ecology and importance. Participants first learn about coral ecology through a panel theater, then observe coral skeletons in detail using a loupe and stereomicroscope. After deepening their knowledge on the beach, they snorkel to observe live coral up close. Learned content is compiled into a worksheet to complete their research project. This program allows for enjoyable learning and research, set in the Sekisei Lagoon, home to over 360 types of coral.
