Of course, JR Kyoto Station is within walking distance.

Experience the many fun features of OMO Base (Travelers' Fun Lounge), such as “mandala art” that is inspired by the three-dimensional mandala of Toji Temple composed of 21 Buddhist statues, as well as a “sutra table” where you can try your hand at copying sutra and writing calligraphy in the sand to calm your mind. The OMO Food & Drink Station is open 24 hours a day. Feel free to enjoy some light snacks for a pick-me-up during your stay.
