On January 15, 2026, Hoshino Resorts will officially open OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi by Hoshino Resorts in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. This opening, followed by the launch of OMO7 Yokohama in front of Kannai Station in spring 2026, will establish a dual presence for the OMO brand in the city. Located on floors 46 to 51 of a landmark skyscraper directly connected to Bashamichi Station, the hotel sits 154 meters above ground, offering unrivaled views of Yokohama. As Hoshino Resorts’ inaugural apartment-style hotel, every guest room is equipped with a kitchen and a washer-dryer, catering to guests who wish to "live like a local" while traveling. Under the concept of a “360° Sky Voyage,” the hotel provides an exhilarating experience reminiscent of sailing through the sky, with panoramic views visible from both guest rooms and public spaces.

Yokohama is a dynamic international port city where historic maritime charm meets modern skyscrapers. The expansive scenery—shaped by the sea, the harbor, and iconic architecture—shifts beautifully with the passing of time, reflecting the vibrant life of the city below. Perched 154 meters in the air, the hotel interprets a stay amidst these views as a "sky voyage," offering a momentary escape from the everyday. The 360-degree panorama allows guests to wake up to a shimmering seascape and spend the evening overlooking a sea of city lights, ensuring a transformative travel experience high above the urban bustle.
The Circular "OMO Base": A 360-Degree View of Japan’s Top Nightscape
The OMO Base is a public space offering a complete panoramic view. The design draws inspiration from a ship’s "wheelhouse," starting with the reception area and flowing into a circular corridor filled with diverse activities. Guests can enjoy a variety of spaces similar to those on a cruise ship, including a Play Zone for billiards and board games, a gallery showcasing the culture of the port town, and a theater area screening classic films.

The OMO Base also features specialized viewing areas: the Bay View Deck, which overlooks the ships traversing Yokohama Port, and the Night View Deck, designed with black interiors and mirrored walls to accentuate the brilliance of the city lights. These vantage points allow guests to discover new facets of Yokohama from every angle.

Guest Rooms Designed for Residential Comfort: Kitchens and Laundry in Every Room
OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi is the first apartment-style hotel by Hoshino Resorts. All 175 rooms across nine categories feature kitchens and washer-dryers, making them ideal for mid to long term stays. Many rooms offer separate living and bedroom areas, providing a spacious environment where guests can cook with local ingredients or relax together.
The interior design is modeled after a ship’s cabin to evoke the excitement of a maritime journey. Details such as leather-strap headboards and brass-colored rails create a classic nautical atmosphere. From the comfort of their private "cabins," guests can enjoy the ever-changing scenery of Yokohama through large windows.

Featured Guest Rooms:
・OMO House (Capacity: 4 / Size: 50–60 m²)
Features sofas in warm nautical tones that can be used as seating for 1–2 guests or converted into beds for 3–4 guests.
・OMO House Corner Suite (Capacity: 6 / Size: 136 m²)
Equipped with an island kitchen and three separate bedrooms, providing ample space for families or groups.
"Nightscape Moments" Vending Machine

Guests can select a themed box containing a card that suggests ways to enhance their viewing experience, such as curated "night-view playlists."
Local Rhythm Night: "Skyline Night"

A signature OMO brand event, Local Rhythm Night celebrates urban nightlife. At OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi, guests can enjoy a self-service cocktail bar and lucky draw games while surrounded by the stunning 360-degree nightscape.
The Go-KINJO service helps guests immerse themselves in the local area. The Go-KINJO Map (Local guide map), located within the hotel, is updated by OMO Rangers (Local guides) who share insider tips and hidden gems not found in standard guidebooks. By using OMO as a home base, guests can experience the authentic charm of Yokohama’s streets.
