The theater reopened after renovations on April 1, 2022. Each night, the festival presents a show that expresses the feelings of the people of Aomori for the festival, enduring a long winter, rejoicing in the arrival of spring, and bursting with passion into the summer festival. The lively Hayashi (musical accompaniment) performed by the staff of Aomoriya and the dynamic float operation are the highlights.
