HOSHINOYA Kyoto was again included 2017 Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List. It has been awarded the Gold list in the third consecutive year since 2015.

The US traveler-focused magazine Condé Nast Traveler’s “Gold List” represents the absolute finest hotels from 46 countries across the globe. HOSHINOYA Kyoto was the only establishment in the Kyoto area to be selected for the 2017 list. The 25 room ryokan hotel opened in December 2009 and is located in Arashiyama, Nishikyo ward, Kyoto, a 10 minute boat ride up the Oi river from the Togetsukyo bridge. Taking advantage of over a century of tradition, extraordinary craftsmanship is fused with contemporary comforts in our guest rooms and a playful sense of wonder in the outdoor spaces.
