■The dynamic "OMO Base" with a 6-meter-high ceiling
The defining feature of OMO5 Tokyo Gotanda is the OMO Base, located approximately 60 meters above ground. The OMO Base serves as a central hub for urban stays, a signature feature of all OMO hotels. Upon arrival on the 14th floor, a spacious area of approximately 1,200 square meters with a 6-meter-high ceiling opens up, leading to facilities such as the Garden Terrace with a waterscape, the OMO Cafe & Bar, and a Shop. The space supports a variety of uses, including planning city explorations with locally focused maps or relaxing in the open, airy cafe and Garden Terrace.

The Garden Terrace, located approximately 60 meters above ground, is a lush open-air space reminiscent of a park-like setting. At its center is a landscaped area featuring a shallow pond and small islands. Despite its central urban location, the terrace provides a refreshing atmosphere throughout the day, from morning to night.

The hotel offers 188 guest rooms across 10 room types, all featuring night views through large windows. The interior design is inspired by the lively atmosphere of Gotanda’s dining scene, with lighting in each room modeled after restaurant signage. Sofas and cushions incorporate retro-toned fabrics in shades of brown, orange, and green, evoking elements such as brick walls of Western-style restaurants and tiled interiors of bar and izakayas. All rooms feature tatami flooring, creating a comfortable, shoes-off environment. Room configurations primarily accommodate two to three guests, with some rooms designed for up to six guests, offering flexibility for a variety of travel styles and group sizes.

Breakfast at OMO Cafe & Bar features onigiri (rice balls) made with an original rice blend and carefully selected ingredients. Supervised by a five-star Rice Master from "Sumidaya," a rice specialty shop founded in 1905, the rice is prepared with ideal water content and texture for OMO5 Tokyo Gotanda. Ten ingredient options are offered, ranging from classic choices such as grilled salmon and pickled plum to luxurious options like seafood and beef simmered in soy sauce. Miso soup made with miso from "Sakamoto Shoten," a Gotanda-based miso specialty shop established in 1922, completes a breakfast that is both satisfying and crafted with attention to detail.
