While the Otaru Canal Cruise usually operates with bench seats, we will operate a boat specially equipped with kotatsu in cooperation with “Goudou Kaisha Otaru Canal Boat,” an Otaru Canal cruising company. On board the boat, you can stay warm and cozy in a kotatsu even in the harsh Otaru winter. During the approximately 40-minute cruise, you can spend an elegant time surrounded by the snowy scenery of the retro cityscape to your heart’s content.
The Otaru Canal is an exotic place lined with historical buildings, such as those made of stately wood and stone. This program will be held in the evening when the canal is illuminated after sunset.
