Spring Peach Pine Festival
The "Spring Peach Pineapple Festival" allows guests to savor specially cultivated, perfectly ripened Peach Pineapples available only at the source. In addition to tasting the subtly peach-scented Peach Pineapples, we will hold the "Peach Pineapple SHOW," where farmers use sickles to cut the pineapples and talk about their characteristics and history. Furthermore, there is a chance to become a Peach Pineapple owner. This event offers a complete enjoyment of Peach Pineapples.
1.Taste "Peach Pine"
Peach Pineapple is characterized by small, juicy fruits with whitish flesh and a refreshing, peach-like aroma. Furthermore, it has less of the stringiness typical of pineapple, allowing the core to be eaten as well. We will be serving slices of this Peach Pineapple in the hotel lobby for guests to enjoy.
2.Peach Pine SHOW
Farmers will peel and slice the Peach Pineapples on the spot using a sickle. Furthermore, the staff and farmers will engage in a dialogue to explain why the pineapple is so delicious and share its history. This is an opportunity to discover the secrets of the Peach Pineapple known only to the local growers.
3.Enjoy on the island
Local dining establishments on the island will offer desserts like parfaits and smoothies featuring the Peach Pineapple. Furthermore, the hotel will feature the "Iriomote Island Peach Pineapple MAP," a comprehensive guide highlighting recommended spots, including scenic viewpoints overlooking the pineapple fields and eateries where guests can savor Peach Pineapple-themed cuisine. Exploring the island using this map will enhance the enjoyment of the event.
4. Become a Peach Pineapple Owner
The stamp rally allows guests to collect stamps by tasting Peach Pineapples, speaking with farmers, and tackling quizzes. By completing all these missions and earning the farmers' recognition for their "Peach Pineapple love," participants secure the right to become a seedling owner. They will regularly receive growth reports and, after two years, will be able to enjoy their matured Peach Pineapple.
