About Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Fukui
The facility will be built to blend into the rich natural environment of Nagao Mountain, which is home to precious flora and fauna. The exterior features a cylindrical design reminiscent of pinecones, harmonizing with the forest of Japanese red pine trees that grow in clusters on Nagao Mountain. The plan is to take advantage of this rich natural environment, offering views that envelop guests in the seasonal scenery and a variety of outdoor activities. Leveraging its location within Katsuyama Dinosaur Forest, the hotel will collaborate with the park's diverse content, including the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, to create memorable experiences that exceed expectations.
Public-Private Partnership Initiatives
This project utilizes the Park-PFI scheme to promote tourism by leveraging private sector vitality in Katsuyama Dinosaur Forest (Nagao Mountain General Park), which is managed by Katsuyama City. In a public tender proposal in 2021, a corporate group including our company was selected as the operator, and we have been proceeding with the plan. Our company will not only operate the hotel but also participate in the overall operation and management of the park, aiming to enhance the park's appeal and create a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, our company signed a "Resort Hotel Development and Operation Agreement" with Fukui Prefecture in 2022, and this project is the first case based on that agreement. We will continue to promote the diverse and attractive tourism resources of Fukui Prefecture both domestically and internationally through the operation of Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Fukui.
