The OMO Rangers at the hotel OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts have been appointed Japan's first authorized Universal Studios Japan guides. This initiative is part of a joint effort with Universal Studios Japan, operated by USJ LLC (Head office: Konohana-ku, Osaka, CEO: J. L. Bonnier). Neighborhood Guide OMO Rangers – hotel staff who know the city inside and out – have undergone onsite training and acquired the title of Universal Studios Japan Authorized OMO Ranger. The authorized OMO Rangers of OMO7 Osaka will have intimate knowledge of the park, providing warm and friendly travel assistance and services that will help guests enjoy sightseeing in Osaka as well as their visit to Universal Studios Japan to the fullest, making their trip more enjoyable. In addition, the hotel will also host a special program, called “Not to be missed: OMO Ranger Program about Universal Studios Japan,” every day from May 12, 2023, as a way for guests to get special insights.

The hotel OMO7 Osaka offers a travel experience that allows visitors to enjoy Osaka to the fullest through rediscovery of Osaka, not only a major center of economy, culture, and transportation but also a travel destination with many charms. With 31.3 percent of visitors mentioning that theme parks are among their reasons for visiting Osaka*, we believe that OMO Rangers, who love Universal Studios Japan – the theme park that is Osaka's pride and joy – will be able to build up excitement by also revealing Osaka's lesser-known attractions, thereby making the visitors’ experience many times more enjoyable. In addition, we believe that the Rangers will help make Osaka more appealing across the board by having guests experience the hidden charms of the city from the comfort of the hotel, which works closely with the local community to offer travelers an experience that allows them to enjoy the city to the fullest. Starting with this project, OMO7 Osaka is committed to further vitalizing Osaka's tourism industry.

Feature 1: Provide in-depth insights on how to enjoy Universal Studios Japan
OMO Rangers – neighborhood guides who love Universal Studios Japan – have undergone rigorous training at Universal Studios Japan to become an authorized guide. As a result, Japan's first Universal Studios Japan Authorized OMO Rangers were born.
OMO Rangers will pop up around OMO Base, the hotel's public space, to answer guests' questions on anything related to Universal Studios Japan, such as strategies for efficient visits to different areas of the park, where to eat, and what souvenirs to buy. The OMO Rangers are so passionate about Universal Studios Japan that they may even give out rare information the guests haven't even asked for. Be sure to keep an eye out for staff members wearing the OMO Ranger badges!
Feature 2: “Not to be Missed: OMO Ranger Program about Universal Studio Japan” - a daily program on how to enjoy Universal Studios Japan to the fullest
At OMO7 Osaka, we will host a daily program called “Not to be Missed: OMO Ranger Program about Universal Studio Japan” from May 12, 2023, to share inside tips on how to enjoy Universal Studios Japan to the fullest. For example, Universal Studios Japan Authorized OMO Rangers will share the best ways to take Instagram-worthy photos, which have been researched through trial and error by our staff walking around the park and introduce souvenirs carefully selected based on the unique viewpoint of USJ super fans. Furthermore, 30 types of accessories, including headbands and hats, are available at the hotel! Find out about these accessories here first, then get them at the park. Our rangers will also provide in-depth explanations on how to use the various goods to communicate with the Park characters and coordinate their outfit to suit different scenes. Packed with insights collected through visits to the park by our OMO rangers, this program will enable guests to enjoy every aspect of Universal Studios Japan.
