Karuizawa is famous for its cold weather, but winter has a very pleasant atmosphere with gentle breezes and peaceful surroundings. As part of our winter-limited activities, we offer floating kotatsu and ice games, an exciting way for you to enjoy the Karuizawa winter outdoors.
An outdoor hot spring pool and tent sauna will open only this winter!
You can enjoy the winter atmosphere and snowy landscape while spending time with your friends in the pool. There will also be a tent sauna near the pool.

Floating kotatsu(Japanese Heated Table)
Winter in Japan isn't complete without Kotatsu. This winter, BEB5 Karuizawa builds a floating kotatsu in our 'TAMARIBA' to allow our guests to enjoy the winter scenery comfortably.

BEB Sustainability Chirstmas
BEB5 Karuizawa is part of the Hoshino area, which is known for its eco-friendly practices. With our TAMARIBA, we feature an upcycled Christmas tree made from thin wood, which is periodically pruned for maintenance. Stay with us and experience Christmas in an eco-friendly manner with us this year.

As part of the winter tradition in Japan, people stay in kotatsu and eat mikan(Mandarin orange). We provide original mikan ice along with floating kotatsu in TAMARIBA so that you can enjoy Japan's culture in a new way.
