"Anytime Sweet Marron Time": A hotel stay filled with chestnut delights, unique to Ibaraki—Japan's top chestnut producer.

Sweet Marron Time

Enjoy an all-chestnut stay in Ibaraki, Japan’s top producer! Includes tea set, late-night dessert, morning drink & a fun lottery.

Sweet Marron Tea Set

Upon your arrival, we offer the "Sweet Marron Tea Set," allowing you to fully enjoy the flavor of chestnuts alongside your tea. Served on a chestnut-shaped plate, this assortment of bite-sized treats—including chestnut ice cream, terrine, and cookies—is perfect for sharing as a mid-afternoon snack. It is paired with Sashima Japanese black tea, chosen for its gentle aroma that complements rather than overpowers the delicate scent of the chestnuts.

Wake-Up Chestnut Smoothie

In the morning, the café offers a smoothie featuring the perfect pairing of chestnut and milk. You can use the "Fender Blender"—a signature feature of BEB5 Tsuchiura that lets you blend your smoothie by pedaling a bicycle—to enjoy a bit of light morning exercise while preparing a refreshing drink to start your day.

Sweet Marron Lottery

During your stay, you can try your luck at the "Sweet Marron Lottery" in the "TAMARIBA" public space. Draw a chestnut-themed card to win limited-time treats like Mont Blanc or a chestnut smoothie. You can take the card home with you, allowing you to display it in your room or tuck it into your smartphone case to enjoy the sight of the chestnut design long after your trip ends.
