Itinerary
Day 1

Good access from the city, Tokyo is only 49 minutes away by express train, and there is also a bus direct from Narita Airport.

The hotel is located inside the station building, the quick check-in process is through the self-check-in machine.

Gathering at the hotel's public space 'TAMARIBA'. Bring your own food or order snacks from the cafe inside the hotel.

Nourish yourself with local specialties. Anglerfish, lotus root, and Tsukuba chicken at a shop near the station!

Before ready for bed, display the bicycle in your room and relax in the large bath.
Day 2

A must-see is the magic hour of sunrise when the calm surface of the lake slowly changes color.


Kasumi Kitchen, a restaurant that uses local ingredients, offers varieties of menus, from steak to parfaits. Enjoy a late breakfast at a lakeside seat.

The goal is just around the corner! Getting a glimpse of the Tsuchiura cityscape. On the opposite shore lies the Great Buddha of Ushiku, the world's largest statue!

After finishing the course, take a shower, and have a sip of beer. Go shopping for the night.

BEB5 Tsuchiura offers the legendary gem "Melon Marugoto Cream Soda" which sells 3,000 pieces a day at Japan's largest outdoor festival held every summer in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Day 3

Pick fresh bakeries near the hotel, and enjoy it at TAMARIBA.

BEB rental e-bikes start from 500 yen per hour. We offer the choice of 1, 3 or 6 hours.

Leave your big luggage at the front desk and go for the ride.

There is usually a line outside MATSUYA noodle shop before it opens!


Take a shower after returning the bicycle and receiving the luggage. Ticket gate straight ahead, stress-free!
