Paths and buildings laid along the contours of the valley

The area is located next to the Yu River, which flows at the bottom of a valley between Karuizawa National Wild Bird Sanctuary Forest on the east and Hoshino Hill on the west. The valley is surrounded by nature on all sides and has hot springs. The otherworldly environment, isolated from the outside world, creates the resort village.

Landscape of winding alleys

A river flows through the center of the ground, and alleys run through the resort village. The allure of alleys lies in their hidden destinations, where one can walk while sensing the presence of water and forest.

Immerse in nature from the guest pavilions

We have designed guest pavilions to fulfill the request of staying with the feeling of Karuizawa's nature. The buildings are configured in a detached-unit style to provide a sense of the outside world while indoors. They follow the traditional Japanese architectural method.

Unbound by Television or Timepieces

To create a comfortable guest pavilions for the mind and body at the resort, and to provide a space that cannot be found in the city, we have omitted TV sets and clocks. Any inconveniences you may experience have been transformed into comforts during your stay.
