Yaeyama, Japan’s first Dark Sky Reserve, offers 84 constellations and all 21 first-magnitude stars. Hoshinoya Taketomi Island preserves this darkness, letting guests enjoy countless stars, shooting stars, and the Southern Cross.
Enjoy the winter starry sky all to yourself in a 46m hot pool. Float in the water, gaze at the stars, and relax in a special experience where you become one with the night sky.
Before the floating bath, enjoy a mocktail with island pepper and ginger, plus three mini appetizers inspired by Orion at the Gajumaru Terrace. The staff will share stories about the stars and Taketomi Island’s culture, heightening your anticipation for the experience.
