Nachiyukui time

You can experience the unique way of spending summer on Taketomi Island, following the lifestyle of the islanders.
In the morning before the sun comes up, we will pick some herbs while learning about the island's history. Afterwards, you will experience “Jujicha,” an Okinawan custom of bringing tea sweets to enjoy at around 10:00 a.m.
You can make your own original wind chimes by making strips of paper using herb-dyed threads. Please enjoy the soothing sound of the wind chimes as the afternoon southerly wind blows.
You can enjoy the coolness of nature in a traditional room, and spend your time following the lifestyle of the local islanders, who take their time to rest indoors during the sunny days.
