KAI Ito
This hot spring ryokan offers numerous ways to enjoy the rich waters of Ito Hot Spring, including a pool, as well as a garden where flowers bloom year-round.Highlights
13ONSEN
The bath halls are designed to offer a spectacle, from waterfalls cascading down a rock wall into the outdoor bath to hot spring water constantly bubbling from the center of the indoor bath.
23CULTURE
The temperate climate of Ito is perfect for camellias, which grow here from late fall to early spring. Guests are invited to make their own camellia oil from the flower’s seeds.
33KAISEKI
Ito is located in Izu, an area that is rich in ingredients such as golden eye snapper, Ise lobster, abalone, and wagyu beef. These are all generously featured in the dinners served here.
Rooms
KAI Signature Rooms offer a deeper dive into the local culture. At KAI Ito, the rooms are decorated with "flower calendar screens" that depict the changing seasons using threads dyed with plants and flowers from Izu. Special Japanese-style rooms also feature traditional hanging decorations.
