Bengara Lounge

You can enjoy a luxurious moment and a tasteful street scene.
*Bengara :A food coloring that is also antiseptic. A red pigment consisting mainly of iron oxide.
Kintsugi pottery repair lesson

Japan's first Kintsugi workshop in a hot spring ryokan inn.
Kintsugi is a traditional and colorful technique to repair shattered pottery by mending the seams with colored lacquer.
For our staying guests only, we offer Kintsugi Basics for a complete hands-on lesson to repair pottery using kintsugi.

KAI Massage

We offer highly therapeutic massages by nationally certified staff. After bathing, blood circulation is improved and the body can relax more easily. A massage before dinner also helps with digestion.
Bathing at Kosoyu (public bathhouse)

Kosoyu is a restored Meiji-era public bathhouse decorated with stained glass windows for an enchanting interior. Enjoy a hot spring experience that feels as if you’ve time-traveled back to the past. Guests staying at KAI Kaga can visit for free as many times as they like.
