Winter Cultural Discovery
In the winter, KAI Nagato offers guests the opportunity to write their thanks and wishes on an ema (votive picture tablet) using ink polished from an Akama inkstone, a traditional handicraft. You can take the ema with your wishes home or dedicate it to the Sumiyoshi Shrine, which is mentioned in the legend of the founding of Nagato Yumoto Onsen.
