This is the standard kaiseki course meal. The sashimi is seasoned with a wide variety of condiments. Enjoy to your heart’s content this meal made of individual dishes, each one carefully paying homage to the cultural roots of its place of origin.

Special Dinner:Spring

“Hanami” crab gets its name from the fact that it is eaten locally at cherry blossom festivals, when the crab is in season. This crab makes a delicious complement to the Aomori delicacies of Oma tuna and wagyu beef.

Special Dinner:Summer

Abalone sashimi is dipped into a fragrant herbal hot pot shabu-shabu style, dunked in a chilled broth, then served over ice in a dish that is as refreshing to look at as it is to eat. It makes a delightful pairing with Oma tuna and wagyu beef.

This course features Oma tuna, which is at its freshest from fall through winter. Please enjoy a variety of ways to eat it, including in its purest form ad sashimi or sushi, and a standout “negima” hot pot which contains scallions and tuna.

“Oma Tuna”
Oma is located on the Shimokita Peninsula on the northernmost tip of Honshu, Japan’s main island. Tuna caught in the high-quality waters of the Tsugaru Strait, where three ocean currents converge, is rich in healthy fat and melts in your mouth. Special dinner, assorting Oma Tuna, is a course containing this unique local ingredient, in season from autumn to winter, prepared a variety of different ways.

KAI serves breakfast made with ingredients that let you taste the flavor of the region and the local cooking techniques. This set meal features a traditional Tsugaru dish of scallop meat, shaved bonito flakes, and chopped Welsh onions, grilled in miso and egg on a scallop shell.
