Ukiyo-e Coloring

You can easily experience a part of the Ukiyo-e production process, an art form with deep ties to Asakusa.
Ukiyo-e, born in the Edo period, was created through a division of labor among multiple artisans. You will take on the role of the surishi, the printer who performs the final steps, and complete a postcard of an Asakusa landscape by printing with four different color stamps. You can take the postcard home as a souvenir of your trip to Asakusa, and also can send it as a letter to share a piece of your memories with someone special.
