Enjoy the Edo spirit and Asakusa annual events.

As lanterns light up the streets of Asakusa, the public space "OMO Base" also takes on a nighttime atmosphere as its rows of lanterns are illuminated. These lanterns feature Ukiyo-e-style illustrations depicting Asakusa's annual events, allowing guests to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Asakusa, a town with many festivals throughout the year.

POINT

1. Immersive experience: Fusion of the magical Senso-ji night view and visuals of Asakusa's annual events.

To allow guests to more deeply enjoy a night view only visible here, an immersive video projection show takes place every hour starting at 8:00 PM. When the OMO Base lights dim, the fantastical night view of Sensoji Temple emerges with increased brilliance. Video projections themed around Asakusa's annual events are then displayed across the large windows, allowing guests to deeply savor Asakusa's vibrancy and charm through the fusion of the night view and the visual show.

2.A space connecting with the city through the light of countless lanterns and a magnificent ceiling painting.

At night, lanterns adorned with ukiyo-e style illustrations of Asakusa's annual events illuminate the "OMO Base." A new ceiling painting featuring Asakusa's tourist spots and expressing the Edo spirit of "Iki" (chic/sophistication) also debuts on the ceiling, creating a space where you can feel Asakusa's vibrancy and history.

3. Enjoy ice cream and monaka from local shops in your own custom combination.

The "Shime O-yatsu Yatai" (Evening Snack Stand) will open at OMO Base from 8:00 PM, allowing you to enjoy the lingering atmosphere of Asakusa's daytime bustle and street strolls. We offer "Flower Monaka Ice Cream," perfect as a palate cleanser after dinner. Three flavors, including a local neighbor's ice cream, are available daily. Using Monaka wafers from local shop "Tanekame" and six different toppings, you can enjoy creating your own custom Monaka Ice Cream in a stylish, Edo-inspired setting.
