This is an original tour where you can fully enjoy Kanazawa's popular spot, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. You can hear deep stories that you don't usually hear, such as the background and concept of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the story behind the work, and hidden spots, so even those who are new to contemporary art will definitely enjoy it!

Japanese confectionery hand-making Experience.

Raw rakugan is a traditional famous confection that has been around since the Edo period and is characterized by its moist texture. With the cooperation of Rakugan Moroe-ya, a long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Kanazawa, we prepared an experience of not only eating but also making it by hand.
Mix the ingredients together, press together, and you're done! You can choose from 10 different types of press molds, including mizubiki, plum, and OMO's original logo. You can also taste the finished product right away, so you can enjoy its fresh-made texture and natural rustic, gentle sweetness.
Tea Tasting Experience

Kanazawa has a deep connection with tea. Learn about the history of tea, how to pair it with food, and how to brew a delicious tea, while enjoying the flavor and aroma of freshly brewed tea. This activity is a collaboration with Nodaya Tea shop and you can experience the deep world of bocha (roasted tea using tea stems) *The world "iijina" means "good" or "wonderful" in Kanazawa dialect.
Gold leaf letter making experience.

This is an in-building activity where you can experience gilding with Kanazawa foil, one of the most famous traditional crafts of Kanazawa.
Choose a postcard with your favorite design, arrange and stick gold and your favorite color foil freely, and you will have one gold foil letter in the world! You can take the finished product back to your travel memories or enjoy writing letters on the spot.

Make love with the beautiful traditional culture of Kanazawa, Mizuhiki The essence of Mizubiki is the expression of a "heart that cares for others". We have prepared hands-on activities in which you can learn "Kaga Mizuhiki," one of the traditional cultures of Kanazawa, and actually make and enjoy it. Through this activity, you will learn the essence and roots of Mizuhiki and experience the works of "Kaga Mizuhiki," and then make "Ume-musubi" with a lecture from an OMO ranger. The finished "Ume-musubi" is tied into a pochi bag and put in an OMO original box to take home. Why not enjoy the basics of mizuhiki, "wrapping" with Japanese paper, "tying" with mizuhiki, and "writing" the reasons, feelings, and names for giving, in an experience unique to OMO? * "Rikutsuna" means "skillful" or "wise" in the Kanazawa dialect
Tour Kanazawa through the share cycle

The public share cycle "Machinori" is recommended for sightseeing in Kanazawa, which has many attractions! "Machinori" is a public share cycle service that you can rent and return at any of the 70 cycle ports in the city. There are many historical spots, from the ruins of Nagamachi samurai residences around the hotel and the Asano River to Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en Garden, and the Higashi Chaya district, which are standard sightseeing spots in Kanazawa. Even in tourist areas that are a little far to walk, you can get around comfortably by bicycle. Please enjoy the streets of Kanazawa by riding a bicycle from the "Machinori" cycle spot attached to the hotel.
The Cafe of Mizuhiki Night Light

Under the theme of "Kaga Mizuhiki," a traditional craft of Kanazawa, the OMO Cafe & Bar was decorated with Mizuhiki decorations in cooperation with "Kaga Mizuhiki Tsuda Mizuhiki Orikata". Here, our building's original sweets "Mizuhiki OMO (Omo) Naka," made in collaboration with neighbors, are on sale for a limited time only at night. There is also a set where you can experience "making a Mizuhiki cutlery rest," and once finished, you can use it directly at the OMO Cafe & Bar. Enjoy a moist nighttime in the space of light and shadow using the Mizuhiki.
