Kanazawa KOGEI Night Salon

An Evening of Tea & Craft
Enjoy Kaga Bocha brewed before your eyes by hotel staff, served with seasonal sweets in a space adorned with traditional crafts.
Our staff, trained by a long-established neighborhood tea shop, will gently guide you through the unique charm of Kaga Bocha. While tasting and comparing two varieties brewed from different roasts and tea leaf parts, enjoy this special moment paired with seasonal sweets from Kanazawa. It’s a perfect opportunity to discover a cup that feels just right for you.
The teaware features traditional Kanazawa crafts such as Kutani ware, Wajima lacquerware, and kiri woodwork. As you enjoy your tea, you’ll experience the refined beauty of artisan techniques. By using these handcrafted pieces yourself, you can feel the warmth and soul of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
The space is adorned with Kanazawa gold leaf and Kaga mizuhiki, expressing Japan’s unique aesthetic of wabi-sabi. Enjoy a sensory-rich moment of art as you look, touch, and use these traditional crafts firsthand.
