At the OMO Base, which incorporates Okinawa's distinctive "Hana Blocks" (decorative concrete blocks) into its design, we hold "A Moment in Ryukyu: The Twilight Banquet" every evening, where you can immerse yourself in Ryukyuan culture and history.
When night falls, the OMO Base is illuminated by the light of Ryukyuan glass, a traditional craft born from the recycling of glass bottles. Here, you can spend the evening your own way—chatting over sweets, trying an Awamori tasting flight, and immersing yourself in Okinawan culture.
We are hosting live performances by a professional sanshin musician. This is a casual event that anyone can enjoy, from young children to adults, whether you are drinking or not. The gentle, resonant sound of the music will further enliven the evening's festivities.
An area resembling a night market has been set up inside the hotel, featuring local items hand-picked by our staff who are passionate about Okinawa. We offer a wide variety of goods perfect for small souvenirs, including snacks loved by local children, cute pouches with charming Okinawan designs, and Ryukyuan glass like that which adorns the OMO Base.
