Yosakoi Rakuen LIVE ~Summer Edition~
The theme is the two major clear-flowing rivers of Kochi
“The Sparkling Clear Stream”
The Shimanto River, one of Japan’s three great clear-flowing rivers, and the Niyodo River, renowned for its crystal-clear waters—so pure they’re known as “Niyodo Blue.” Dancers will swap their traditional clappers for blue cotton cloths to depict the shimmering flow of these two beautiful rivers that run through Kochi. Please enjoy this performance, which blends the vibrant energy of Kochi’s tropical Yosakoi with a refreshing sense of coolness.
Opening Monday, June 8, 2026!
Shimanto River
The longest river in Shikoku, flowing through the western part of Kochi Prefecture. Often referred to as Japan’s last pristine river, its abundant nature and unspoiled landscapes create a captivating scene.
Niyodo River
One of Japan’s premier clear-water rivers, it has been selected time and again as having “the best water quality.” The scenery of its blue waters, known as “Niyodo Blue,” has made it a popular scenic spot.
