"Aizu Modern" Guest Rooms

The hotel features 149 guest rooms designed around the concept of "Aizu Modern". Rooms are divided into mountain-side views, featuring designs inspired by local flora, and lake-side views, reflecting the ripples of the water. The interiors incorporate modern styles of traditional Aizu lacquerware through "BITOWA" items, blending Japanese relaxation with Western comfort.

Hot Spring and Spa Treatments

The onsen, Shurei-no-yu, features a modern design inspired by the deep red and black aesthetics of Aizu lacquerware. Guests can relax in carbonate-hydrogen spring water sourced from the foot of Mt. Bandai.

At Aizu SPA, guests can choose from various relaxation treatments. The signature oil treatment uses an original rice carrier oil, with a single batch requiring 60 to 100 kg of locally grown Aizu rice.

Regional Aizu cuisine at the restaurant

The main restaurant is buffet-style  and serves regional Aizu cuisine.
・Dinner: Features freshly made soba noodles, koduyu (a traditional clear soup), and miso dengaku.
・Breakfast: Highlights include Asa-ra (morning ramen), a specialty of Kitakata, and wappa-meshi, where guests can choose their own toppings for the traditional steamed rice dish.

Aizu SAKE Bar
The Aizu SAKE Bar specializes in local sake, offering approximately 30 varieties from breweries across the Aizu region. The hotel also hosts a workshop introducing the types and best ways to enjoy Japanese sake, complete with tastings.

・Winter: Hoshino Resorts NEKOMA Mountain opens as one of Japan’s largest ski resorts with 33 courses. It covers both the south slope, with views of Lake Inawashiro, and the north slope, known for high-quality powder snow.

・Spring to Autumn: Guests can play at the Hoshino Resorts Mellowwood Golf Club. This hilly course sits at an elevation of 700 meters, offering strategic play alongside panoramic views of Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro.
