Background
Summer on Taketomi Island brings gentle morning sunshine and pleasant breezes from the surrounding sea. As evening approaches, it is the ideal time to witness the stunning sunsets over the horizon from the island, a truly special sight. While visitors often head out for cycling or to the beach during the day, the islanders themselves prefer to be active in the cooler mornings and evenings, spending their afternoons relaxing indoors. This program has been crafted by drawing upon this local wisdom, hoping that guests will find a truly fulfilling time here, embracing Taketomi Island's natural way of life.

Feature 1: Field Activities and "Juujichaa" Experience

Afterward, following Okinawa's "Juujichaa" (*3) custom, guests will enjoy drinks made from freshly picked herbs along with traditional sweets.
