Shuri Castle Commemorative Stay

Shuri Castle, where many buildings including the Main Hall (Seiden) were destroyed by a fire in 2019, will celebrate the completion ceremony of its reconstruction on November 22, 2026. At OMO5 Okinawa Naha, we will host the "Shuri Castle Kariyushi Stay"—an event that lets you fully experience Shuri Castle at this historic milestone. You can feel the journey of its revival, immerse yourself in Ryukyu-era culture, and enjoy the celebratory atmosphere together with the entire city of Naha.

Shuri Castle Rangers Delve Deep into the Charms of the Castle

During the "Shuri Castle Kariyushi Stay" event, our "Shuri Castle Rangers"—staff members who know the castle inside out—will make an appearance. They will passionately share their unique insights into the castle's journey toward reconstruction and the rich culture nurtured during the Ryukyu Kingdom era. In just 5 minutes, you can easily discover deep ways to enjoy Shuri Castle and Naha, adding extra excitement both before and after your visit.

Sanshin Live Performance Celebrating the Completion of Shuri Castle's Main Hall

In the evening, to celebrate the reconstruction of the Shuri Castle Main Hall, we welcome you with songs, Sanshin music, Awamori, and Ryukyuan sweets, inspired by the "Seven Banquets" (Shichi-en)—the historic feasts held to welcome state guests during the Ryukyu Kingdom era. Let's liven up the night, toast together with "Kachashi" (Okinawa's iconic celebratory dance), and celebrate the completion of the Main Hall with the Shuri Castle Rangers!

A Special Space Inspired by the Iconic Red of Shuri Castle

During the event, the entire interior of the hotel transforms into a space reminiscent of Shuri Castle. Surrounded by the vibrant "bengala" red, you can immerse yourself in the world of Shuri Castle and feel the festive, celebratory mood of its reconstruction.
