Nekoma Mountain

NEKOMA MOUNTAIN is one of Japan's largest big slopes, spanning the north and south sides of Mount Nekoma, featuring 13 lifts and 33 courses.

1. Spectacular Views and Varied Terrain Areas

Nekoma Mountain is a ski resort where you can freely move between and enjoy two expressive areas: the South Area and the North Area. Please enjoy skiing with the magnificent view of Mount Bandai.

South Area

The "South Area" overlooks Mount Bandai and Lake Inawashiro, offering a pleasant skiing experience with Mount Bandai and Lake Inawashiro right before your eyes on clear days. It is equipped with various attractions such as long courses for intermediate levels, snow escalators for beginners, and parks enjoyable for everyone from beginners to athletes, offering diverse ways to play.

Urabandai Area

The "North Area" is located on the northern slope of Mount Bandai and is characterized by "micro-fine snow," a high-quality powder snow brought about by its unique terrain and environment. Due to heavy snowfall, you can enjoy a long season of skiing from late November until Golden Week.

2. New Tree Run Zones Introduced!

For the 2025-2026 season, in addition to the variety of 33 courses, a new Tree Run Zone of approximately 20 hectares will be established within the Southern Area's Frozen Area. This vast area, composed of three zones, allows skiers to weave through the beech forest and enjoy the powder snow and natural terrain unique to tree running.

What's New for the 2025-2026 Season!

Signature Burger: Even Better!

The signature menu item, "The Rider's Burger," at the Southern Area restaurant "The Rider's," has been renewed! This substantial dish, with a perfect combination of fragrant beef patty, milky bun, and fresh vegetables, will surely satisfy your cold body and hunger.

3. Courses that satisfy intermediate and advanced skiers/riders.

The diverse courses that appeal to intermediate and advanced skiers are also part of Nekoma Mountain's charm. You can enjoy free-style skiing according to the conditions, with groomed slopes, steep ungroomed courses, and a snow park.
