Fuji Praying for Good Fortune Stay

A program to pray for happiness in the new year with Mt. Fuji

It is a program to pray for happiness in the new year through a good luck canoe, visiting Mt. Fuji's oldest shrine, and a good luck breakfast.

Sunrise canoe

Warm amazake, with its red and white colors, is served on the canoe. You welcome the New Year with a cheerful spirit while enjoying the tranquil views of Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding mountains.

Mt. Fuji's oldest shrine

In a cabin, you will create a goshuin book using local textiles and visit shrine. It is a special time to pray for happiness in the new year, receive purification and blessings at Mt. Fuji's oldest shrine, and obtain a goshuin stamp.

Good luck breakfast

A good luck breakfast featuring a hot pot of wild boar, a bounty of the mountains, in kelp broth. Enjoy auspicious ingredients like wild boar, symbolizing good health, and Yamanashi Prefecture's specialties for a brisk new year.
