Tanadui Festival Stay

Experience the "Tanadui Festival Stay," an immersive journey into the sacred rituals and preparations of Taketomi Island's unique cultural heritage.
"Fukumi" is a rehearsal held before the main festival. Performers in authentic costumes showcase their dedication to ancestors under unique tension. It is a rare chance to feel the islanders' passion up close.
After a briefing at HOSHINOYA, watch performances at Yomuchi-on. A guide explains etiquette and highlights for an authentic local experience. Includes an original bento and guidebook to fully immerse in the heritage.
After the show, join the "Yu-kui" ritual to pray for harvest. After a song briefing, walk the village with locals. Sharing sacred sake and "Pintaku" at homes, you will feel the island’s unity and spiritual heart.
