An irori fireplace experience offering a taste of luxurious countryside life

A moment of relaxation by the irori fireplace

Warm hospitality with oyaki

Around the irori fireplace, a nostalgic warmth drifts through the air, filled with the crackle of burning charcoal and steam rising from the kamado stove. Enticed by the inviting aroma of Shinshu's famous oyaki dumplings, it is a special spot where you will naturally want to stop by.

Warm sake in a chirori

As night falls completely, warm sake is prepared. Depending on the season, options such as chilled sake, oshiruko (sweet red bean soup), and dango rice dumplings are also served, allowing time to flow in an even more immersive and relaxing rhythm.

A warm homecoming gathering

The irori fireplace at Hoshino Resorts KAI Alps is a relaxing gathering place where a variety of people come together. Please spend a soothing moment by the gently warming irori, enjoying lively conversations with the irori keeper and fellow guests.

The luxury of waking up early

"Omeza-gayu"

Every morning, we prepare "Omeza-gayu" (morning wake-up rice porridge) cooked at the kamado stove. The fragrant steam rising as the stove is lit and the porridge cooks is a privilege reserved for early risers.

A moment before breakfast

The piping hot rice porridge is simply flavored with kneaded plum paste (neriume). Please enjoy its rustic taste that gently warms both your heart and body.
