Day 1

At KAI, we offer “KAI Hot Spring Healing,” an authentic hot spring cure experience based on the efficacy and quality of the water at the hot springs.

Take a time to relax with with a drink in your room.

The hospitality of “Bi-Cha-Raku (meaning Beauty, Tea, Fun),” inspired by Japan’s most famous tea region welcomes you. You can try different experiences depending on the season.

Day 2

This exercise in our tea field overlooking Lake Hamana incorporates a movement to pick tea leaves. A great, fun way to gently wake up your body.

At KAI, we offer a “Local Breakfast” using ingredients and cooking methods that reflect the local culture.
At KAI Enshu serves a local specialty dish.

Try walking with large strides while consciously “inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.” A course map is available with routes that you can walk lightly for about an hour.

Try our breathing techniques to enhance the effects of the hot spring or enjoy the local beverages after bathing.

Panels on the display introduce the mechanism of hot springs, the history of hot spring cures, and the descriptions of the spring qualities. It is also a great way to review hot spring etiquette and manners.

With our inn as a base, explore surrounding areas such as Hamamatsu Castle and Hamamatsu Flower Park.

From Tea Lounge “Bicharaku” in Travel library, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Hamana. It has elevated tatami-floored seating areas where you can take off your shoes and relax.

Relaxing your body in the evening helps with digestion for dinner.

Day 3

Our “Original Exercise” features unique movements that incorporate the local histories and tourism resources. It improves your blood flow, especially when coupled with bathing in hot springs.

KAI Enshu’s Travel library also has “Tea Stand”. You can enjoy cold-brew tea for even just a sip, which is perfect after a hot spring.

Off to the dining area to satisfy your stomach.

Experience a one-of-a-kind cruise on Lake Hamana, known as a brackish lake with the longest circumference in Japan.

Our shop has a wide selection of local treats and folk crafts for you to take home.

The check-out is until noon. When you leave the inn, you are refreshed and fully charged.
