A short monorail trip from the ryokan will take guests to a bathhouse that sits in the middle of a vast field of silvergrass, allowing for a liberating bathing experience.

At night, staff perform a dance depicting Japan’s origin myth, which takes place in the Kirishima Mountains. Taiko drums and kagura suzu bells accompany the vibrant performance.

Seasonal seafood, as well as flavorsome vegetables and meat that hail from the region’s unique white soil highlands, are featured prominently in the kaiseki dinners.
